Subsite Folder Structure
For each subsite, a separate folder is created. This folder should have the following directories
- “Content”
- The content files would be in this directory
- “SEO”
- Is about SEO materials
- “Blog”
- Which contains the blog contents and assets folder including images and videos
- “Portfolio/Case Studies”
- Contains the portfolio content
- “Research & Market Analysis”
- Which has the documents regarding research, market analysis, competitor analysis, etc.
- “Suggestion”
- Which includes a google doc named “Suggestions”
- The suggestion document has a similar structure to this template.
- If you have some suggestions for future changes, please keep it in this file. We might not have time to implement the suggestions at the moment, but let's keep a list of them and we can get back to them later.
- The suggestion can be on the Teams too. But some suggestions take time to review. We recommend our team to put it in this file because it might get lost after sometime on Teams.
- “Video”
- Contains videos. Please refer to the note below, member subfolders.
- “Infographics”
- Contains infographics. Please refer to the note below, members' subfolder.
- “Tech Team”
- Contains the material provided by the tech team
Please put each file in the related folder.
Note:
- Members' subfolder: some directories contain subfolders for each member. The name of the subfolders is the member's name. The write permission to the subfolder is only given to that member and admins. Members are welcomed to request admins to create a subfolder for them.
- Please never delete any files and continue working on the same file or create a new file and name it “file's name-V2”.
Permission
For each of the folders listed above, only one person (except the supervisors like Hajir, Sajad and Shakiba) has write access. For all files within the folders, everyone should have suggestion permission. The reasons for this are,
- One person would have the responsibility of managing the folder.
- All other members can contribute by commenting. The person who is responsible for the folder can approve the suggestion or leave a comment if they disagree.
For the suggestion file, all members should have comment permission.
Please NEVER share your content publicly at any time. It should always be private and shared only with the team members.
